#AKnightToRemember – The short video Office Daze was made by Academy of Art University MFA Advertising candidates Arnon Chinchiewchan, creative strategist and Hayes Liu, art director.
Office Daze is a sound experiment made from everyday objects found in an office. Using a stapler, printer, phone, etc., they built a soundscape of the modern workplace, with mesmerizing visuals to back it up. The video was made as part of a larger campaign for Nootrobox (nootrobox.com), an SF-based cognitive supplements brand.
A bit more about the process: Hayes and Arnon began by recording sounds with high end microphones, then composing those sounds into a catchy beat and melody with a help from HaiPing GE, an Academy BFA student of Music Production. The live action was shot with a Canon 6D, and edited in Final Cut Pro, with animation designed in After Effects.
