The illustrations of Gladys Perint Palmer, executive director of the Academy’s School of Fashion, appeared throughout New York City in advance of Fashion Week, Sept. 8–15.
As the only fashion school to display its students’ work at New York Fashion Week, the Academy of Art University offers them an “incredible” opportunity to gain experience in the world of fashion, according to Academy President Elisa Stephens. This year the students’ Sept. 9 Lincoln Center show again drew high praise and rave reviews.
