McDonald's Rotterdam

This super cool McDonald’s featuring a perforated golden facade and a grand spiral staircase was designed by Dutch firm Mei Architects to replace “the ugliest building in Rotterdam” It’s located on Coolsingel, one of the most popular shopping areas. The design was done by Mei Architects as a golden pavilion with a façade of pixelated imagery.  This is proof that even fast food can have good design!
