Monday Morning Photo(s) 4th July Edition

In honor of 4th of July we have a look at one of America’s most iconic symbols, the Statue of Liberty. Given by France to the United States as a memorial to their independence, 100 years after the American Revolution, the Statue of Liberty symbolizes freedom represented by Libertas the Roman Goddess of freedom.
The statue was built in Paris and fully funded by the French people, including the one and only Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel, the style is colossal neoclassical and is now  located now on Liberty Island in the middle of New York Harbor, in Manhattan
