Monday Morning Photo(S) SF MOMA Edition

For today’s Monday Morning Photos we take a peek inside the new SFMOMA. It’s been almost three years since the shut down their doors to go under an massive expansion, finally on May 14th we will be able to so see the incredible design by structure to exhibit the museums expanded collection. The design was done by one of our favorite firms Snøhetta. We have been following the construction that creates a striking connection and contrast at the same time with the existing building done by Swiss architect Mario Botta back in the mid 90’s
Here are some photos via www.dezeen.com to get your Monday Morning started!

The new building’s unique facade is made of fiberglass-reinforced polymer panels punctuated by horizontal band windows
