SPURs New App!

San Francisco has a unique network of Privately Owned Public Spaces which often times are over looked. Check out SPURs new mobile app (available for iPhone) which gives you information and addresses to these spaces (POPOS). The POPOS map is also available for free on SPURs website, and provides a great way to find hidden gem spaces in San Francisco.
Some of the spaces on the POPOS map are perfect opportunities for redesign. Check them out, and think about what kind of design alternatives you could propose to make these spaces more vibrant and attractive to San Francisco’s local and tourist community.
