The Medlock Ames Tasting Room in Healdsburg is a model of the potential of landscape architecture to reflect and encourage stewardship and conservation practices, uniting the Russian River Valley’s legacy of innovation in agriculture with the Bay Area’s pioneering culinary traditions. Please join Thomas Woltz and Ames Morison in conversation as they discuss their close collaboration in the design of the Tasting Room, and the role of contemporary landscape architecture in communicating their shared and deeply held commitment to land stewardship and the protection of biodiversity.

A reception will follow at 7pm in the SPUR gallery, to celebrate the release of the Princeton Architectural Press monograph Nelson Byrd Woltz: Garden Park Community Farm.

A one-day exhibition featuring work from the book, including Medlock Ames, will open at 11am on June 26 in the SPUR Gallery.
