Design in Motion

Announcing this year’s premier East Bay event!
The second annual Design in Motion Charity Gala will benefit a very special cause:  Laura Guido Clark’s Project Color Corps. Hosted by the IIDA East Bay City Center, this event will celebrate forward motion and the power of color and it’s ability to transform. Project Color Corps is a non-profit organization that uses color & pattern to impart positive messages of hope and optimism by painting inner city neighborhoods and schools.

Guest Speaker: Laura Guido Clark

Laura Guido-Clark is the principal of Laura Guido-Clark Design, LLC, a multiple disciplinary design studio that specializes in improving the human experience – through color, materials, finish and pattern. Her insights and honed process have defined her role as an experience consultant to help her clients connect with their consumers in a meaningful way. As a result of her expertise, Laura has been invited to speak both nationally and internationally on design and the creative process, and was an expert design blogger for Fast Company magazine.

In 2011, Laura fulfilled a lifelong dream and founded Project Color Corps™, a nonprofit organization dedicated to painting urban neighborhoods with color and pattern that impart positive messages of optimism and hope.
