Contract furniture design and manufacturing company Andreu World would like to invite designers of all ages, professionals and students from all fields of design to participate in the 11th Annual Andreu World International Design Contest. 
Challenge: Design a chair and/or table
Open to: Professionals & Students (No age limit)
Deadline: September 11, 2011-September 4, 2011 (entries from the United States)

Since 2000, Andreu World has been holding a juried competition to showcase unique and innovative seating and table design solutions.  This event has established itself on the international scene by becoming a showcase for the latest trends in furniture design, as well as a launching pad for new artists.  More than 10,000 contestants from 60 different countries have participated in this annual competition.  The First Place designer/team will be awarded 3.000 Euros and the Second Place designer/team will be awarded 1.000 Euros, besides three special mentions.
