Internship for IAD juniors or seniors – ERS Hospitality

ERS Hospitality is a Hospitality Design Firm located in Walnut Creek. We have a beautiful new office. It is a comfortable and pleasant working environment. There is easy access to Walnut Creek Bart, located across the street. 

We are looking for an interior design intern who is passionate about design. You must be organized, enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel and Word.

Candidate must be in his/her Junior or Senior year of Interior Architecture and Design Program. Students are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Responsibilities will include assisting designers as needed with all phases of design:

•           CAD drawings and space planning

•           Presentation materials and color boards

•           Product research and sourcing

•           Worksheets and budgets

•           Project binders and specifications

•           Updating and organizing library

•           Vendor correspondence

•           Place orders and scheduling

•           Answering phones, filing and general office

This is a paid internship. Candidate must be in his/her Junior or Senior year of Interior Architecture and Design Program. Students are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week. Hourly rate ranges from $10 – 15 hour.
