Old Cinemas in Africa

We found a very interesting post via messynessychic.com, Germany’s cultural Goethe-Institute is putting together a fascinating website dedicated entirely to documenting the architecture of Africa’s old cinemas; photographing them, mapping them and finding out as much as they can about them.
Here are some of our favorites, the designs are quite simple yet they reflect so much of the culture.
