Paperman

For those of you who saw Disney’s “Wreck It Ralph” in the theaters last year, you probably have seen the animated short film “Paperman.” Directed by John Kahrs, “Paperman” tells the story of a man who meets a young woman and is determined to catch her attention when he sees her again across from his office building. After numerous failed attempts, he believes he has lost her forever until the elements of wind, a stack of paper airplanes and fate bring them together. Disney claims this short introduces a new style that combines hand-drawn animation with computer-generated techniques. Watch the Oscar-nominated short below and see for yourself.
