Restoring a Painting

We are sure you have seen images of the famous attempt to restore an old church painting in Spain that turned into an uproar over vandalism.
Cecilia Jimenez, an elderly parishioner, is responsible for restoring a painting from a century-old devotional fresco by Elias Garcia Martinez in Santuario del Misericordia, a Catholic church in Borja, Spain, the image of the “restored” painting has gone viral with people making fun of it, so we thought it would be fun to incorporate the painting in trendy interior design settings.
