San Francisco Flower & Garden Show (March 21-25, 2012)
From the words of the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show,
The San Francisco Flower & Garden Show has a rich 26-year history and has received many international accolades in that time. The Show is one of the largest of its kind in the United States and is dedicated to demonstrating best practices in gardening as well as outdoor design and living.
In 2012, the Show Theme will be “Gardens for a Green Earth.” The display gardens will demonstrate best practices in conservation and green design. There’s something for everyone – gardens, green living, creative food practices, art and entertainment.
This Show would not be possible without the generous donations of time and money by many organizations. Our success is directly tied to the efforts of countless volunteers and community enthusiasts who give the show its flair and personality, making it one of the best in the United States.
For the first time, the students from the School of Landscape Architecture at the Academy of Art University will be creating a garden for the show called, “Urban Habitat.” Read what they are going to create this year here!
