NOMADgardens

NOMADgardens is a “temporary ‘roaming’ community garden (workshop and event space) that can be placed in any ‘available’ parcel of Mission Bay and be easily relocated upon the parcel’s sale.”

NOMADgardens was founded by Stephanie Goodson who is a “change agent and design opportunist dedicated to establishing citizen-sustained communities. She founded Nomad Gardens with a desire to facilitate projects that build community.”

The main goal of this organization is to:

At their plot on 1401 4th Street in Mission Bay, NOMADgardens provides community members and garden enthusiasts with a 2’x4′ plot where for $20 a month they can grow their very own organic produce that they can harvest and enjoy!

This Saturday July 19th, NOMADgardens will be hosting a volunteer event from 10:00am – 12:30pm where you can go to the  garden and meet up with fellow gardeners to help with work projects and beautifying the garden!
