The Postal Service Mexico
The Postal Palace of Mexico City or better know as “Correo Mayor” in the downtown area, was built in the beginning of the 20th century, being the most modern design of the time, it has a mix of styles from Spanish Renaissance Revival, Elizabethan Gothic, to Elizabethan Plateresque and Venetian Gothic Revival, making this building such an interesting and beautiful historic landmark in the capital of Mexico. The architect in charge of the project was Adamo Boari, who also designed the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) just across the street, we will share some pictures of the project later during the semester.
