These Shoes Are Made for Walkin'

The Japanese design firm Nendo  was in charge of Tokyo’s Puma House, located in design district of Aoyama.
“Puma House Tokyo” combines several rooms into one space for the first time, giving each room a different use, creating a press room and an event space that could be use for exhibitions, fittings, product launches and other media events.
What really got us into the design of this store was the use of staircases around the space, not meant for people to climb but used as display for their shoes, giving a sense of movement throughout the space and reminding their customers that Puma shoes are definitely meant for walking…
