School of Music Alumni Scores The Handmaid’s Tale Super Bowl Ad
The last time we heard of Mark Cofer (and it wasn’t that too long ago, really), he was busy writing musical scores for major motion pictures and trailers for major Hollywood productions, like Pirates of the Carribbean and Independence Day: Resurgence, among others. Well, from the looks—and sound—of it, this School of Music Production alumni has just kept right at it.
And now, we have the pleasure of seeing one of his creations bring a major project to vivid life. What is it, you ask? Oh, it’s just a musical score for an ad of one of the biggest award-winning TV series streaming on Hulu, The Handmaid’s Tale. Also, no big deal, but it only played in last Sunday’s Super Bowl. You know, small stuff. Nothing too major going on here.
Who are we kidding? We’re absolutely stoked to have one of our alums successfully pursuing their passion! Kudos and good job to you, Mark! We’re definitely looking forward to hearing more of your inspiring endeavors.
As for the rest of you, here. Check out his work below, and may this encourage you to work hard for your dreams, especially this fresh Spring semester.
