Theatrical Apartment in London
Architectural Design firm APA has transformed a London warehouse into a very functional apartment for two theater and film directors, adding a raw steel volume that houses a movie archive and a bathroom.
The designers worked alongside film and theater director Dalia Ibelhauptaite and director Dexter Fletcher to ensure the Clerkenwell apartment reflected the couple’s personal needs and interest.
Each side of the cube has a very different function, one side is for reading and sleeping more private space and the other for working, as well as a kitchen space for preparing food and dining, and a living area, this being considered more public.
