“Urban Mixology” is a Go!

The students of the School of Landscape Architecture have done it again! “Urban Mixology”, a design by MFA student Jason Jeon that explores the relationship between the Urban grid and the art of digital color mixology, has been selected by the jurors of the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show to be built and displayed in March 2014!

“Urban Mixology” combines urban grid densities and their overlapping qualities as an overarching form with the mixology of the RGB colors in digital design, through the use of various colorful plants and materials, to create an ambiance which directly links to the diversity and vibrancy of city environments.

Stay tuned for the design development and implementation of what promises to be another award winning project!
