Market Street Prototyping Festival Community Meeting

YBCA and San Francisco Planning piloted the Market Street Prototyping Festival through an unprecedented arts-city partnership. This was the first iteration of what will become an annual endeavor in San Francisco, leading up to and continuing beyond the redesign of Market Street in 2018.

Each year, this process will grow in new directions and neighborhoods based on our learnings. Having tested 52 prototypes for activating Market Street through the three-day pilot festival in April 2015, we invite you into the process for selecting the 10 most successful prototypes for deeper incubation, developing them further, experimenting with duration and location, and exploring their potential for longer-term impact on public space.

Join us! Participate in the process to select the 10 most successful prototypes emerging from the pilot festival for incubation. Together, we will identify the most forward-thinking, diverse citizen-driven solutions for re-energizing Market Street.
