Mexico's Truck Trend

Food trucks have been very poular here in California but Mexico City has taken the “truck” trend to another level, with the A47 Library Truck. Productora was commissioned with the task to create a mobile library for the alumnos47 non profit organization. Holding about 1500 books, this mobile library of sorts has hydraulic floors that allow readers of any height reach up to the top and select the desired book of choice. The floors’ adjustability also serves as a great function of group meetings and small presentations. All of the doors on the giant truck fold open to reveal a a sleek and clean space that appears empty until the eye travels up and sees all of the books waiting to be read.
