Alumni Behind the Scenes: The Addams Family 2019

by Mariebelle Alagbate

Our favorite Halloweeny family is back, and with them come some of our very own animation school graduates. Congratulations, and as always, we’re very proud of you!

It seems like people just can’t get enough of Charles Addams’ iconic cartoon series, The Addams Family. The animated 2019 movie version only premiered last weekend of October 11, and already, it’s being reported that a sequel is in the works, slated for a Fall 2021 release. Talk about thinking ahead!

In any case, don’t miss out on this iteration first, and we have not just one but five (FIVE!) very good reasons why you should support it:

  • Alfredo Octavio Arango (2008) Shot Finaling Artist
  • Domenic Allen (2001) Show Technical Director
  • Peter Newsome (1999) Rigging Lead
  • Bryan Walman (2005) Technical Department Manager
  • Alexander Jarosch (2018) FX Artist

Also, because the movie is simply fun. Again, a huge congratulations to our Academy of Art University (ex) students now making it big in the field of animation!

Just like them, you can also be working on the next big animation film of the future! Take that first step by joining our School of Animation & Visual Effects.

Application is now open for Academy of Art University’s 2020 school year. You can also request information from our admissions representatives for more details on our offered courses, programs, and scholarships, among others.
