“Mac vs PC” Ad Campaign Becomes a Pop Culture Icon

Before iPad vs. Surface, there was Mac vs. PC.

In 2006, Jason Sperling, an alum of Academy of Art University’s School of Advertising (’93), led the creative team at Media Arts Lab that created the iconic “Get a Mac” ad campaign for Apple.

In 2010, Adweek declared “Get a Mac” to be the best advertising campaign of the first decade of the new century, kick-starting Apple’s domination of next-generation phones, computers, and wearables.

We can’t wait to see what Sperling and other alumni from the School of Advertising will come up with next. #TBT
