Here at Academy of Art University, we encourge students to have a well-balanced academic life. Classroom learning is important, of course, but joining extracurricular activities to meet other creative folks can do a lot to further improve your learning experience as well.

So if you want to be productive in your free time, we highly recommend you join a club that will further encourage you to pursue your interests, while also making new friends while at it. As you will soon realize, especially if you’re new to our art school community, networking and collaboration are going to be integral features in your growth as an artist.

That’s why there’s no better way to make the most out of this opportuntiy than by dropping by the Club Mixer happening this weekend! Come and take a look around at the various student clubs and communities. Take your pick and sign up to meet your new crew. Just bring your ID to get in.

And then after that, you can go check out the Chinese New Year Parade happening later that afternoon in the city. We’ll have our own float created by our students wowing everyone, as per usual, so don’t miss out on this experience too!
