RSVP: Academy of Art’s Industrial Design School Hosting SQ1CON 2019 Events
Several SQ1 Conference events will be hosted by our industrial design school throughout Academy of Art University’s urban campus starting TOMORROW, so take your pick and don’t miss out!
The Advanced Design Sketching SQ1 Conference is an annual design event that was originally founded by a group of University of Illinois-Chicago students. Essentially, the goal of this conference is to provide a platform for students to be heard on issues of design education.
From its humble beginnings in 2017, the event has now grown to be of international relevance, attracting attendees both local and foreign. For this year’s iteration of SQ1CON, the Academy’s School of Industrial Design will be hosting conference events at the Warehouse, 79 New Montgomery, and the Auto Museum, from October 17-19, 2019.
Check out the full list of Academy-hosted events below. Also, please note that food and refreshments will not be provided for in the event.
