Creative Mind Bonus Episode: The Inside Scoop on a Professional Animation Career

What better way for students to know more about the real score in an animation career than from actual professionals living it? It’s not just for students, too, but anyone else who might be interested in the industry.

In this bonus episode of Creative Mind podcast, three animation industry professionals join host Bobby Brill.

Sherrie H. Sinclair built her portfolio as a character animator at Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida for nine years. Among her film credits include The Lion King, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tarzan, and Lilo and Stitch. She then moved on to become the Traditional Animation Director for the School of Animation & Visual Effects at Academy of Art University.

Kim Ferrari is one of Academy of Art’s animation alumni, who currently works as a Lead Animator for Duck Duck Moose. Meanwhile, Felix Hallock, also an Academy alum, is giving back to the Academy as a traditional character animation instructor at the School of Animation.

Their stories and advice are definitely worth hearing, so listen up and make sure to follow-through by applying their lessons to your own animation career journey.
