We are officially only one week away from the first day of school! Located in the heart of San Francisco, Academy of Art University is an exciting and diverse place where students can explore their artistic and creative pursuits freely. However, as exciting as the city is, it can also be a risky environment for many students.

As part of the welcome week curriculum, we invite all new students (on-site and online) to our mandatory Title XI event. Here at Academy of Art University, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all of our students. During the event, you’ll attend an important presentation about campus safety and how to prevent sexual assault, harassment, and rape. 

Providing a safe environment is not just a campus duty but a university-wide effort. That’s why, we extend our invite to our students and staff online. For those of you who can’t attend our on-campus Title IX event, you can watch the livestream event featuring SFWAR to be aware of campus safety issues.
