YES, the student film festival of Academy of Art University’s film school is pushing through this year—online.

Most other things may be put on hold for now, but creativity and the passion to create definitely aren’t. Academy of Art’s School of Motion Pictures & Television shows how it’s done with this year’s NXT UP Film Festival happening online!

The event will stream live on Friday, May 1^st, at 7:00PM Pacific Time, and you can join by signing in to the Zoom link above. Note that you will be asked to enter your name and address to access the webinar. However, you don’t have to wait until Friday to see the films participating in this year’s festival.

You can make your way to the official NXT UP Film Festival page and pick your top choices for various categories, such as Audience Award – Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, and more! Vote now to help your favorites win!
