The top 25 finalists for the Sony XPERIA Summer Film Festival have submitted their works. They’ve done their part, now it’s time to do yours.

As you may very well know by now, Sony Xperia has partnered up with Academy of Art University for their summer film festival with a short filmmaking contest.

Exclusively open to Academy students, the contest promises grand prizes—as grand as US$10,000! A lot is obviously at stake, which is why the finalists all put in maximum effort to their work.

Be the Judge

Whether or not their best is good enough will be up to you. Yes, you! Academy students are all encouraged to watch the entries of this year’s participants, and then cast a vote.

The entries run for under 5 minutes, and must reflect the themes of KANDO, JOY, or WONDER.  Each participant was provided with the NEW XPERIA 1, which means that all entries you will see are shot entirely on a mobile phone!

After all that’s been said and done, it all boils down to what you think about their work. Go on, watch their entries and cast your vote! Deadline is on August 12 (Monday), so make your vote count!
