Academy Weekly: Goodbye Spooktacular Halloween and Hello Cozy November!

Another week, another Academy Weekly! From our biggest Jewelry and Metal Arts exhibition of the year to department features, we had all kinds of content published for you last week. Hang tight and catch up on what you missed on!

Hope everyone had a spooktacular Halloween – we know we did! Other than celebrating the scariest holiday of the year, we also pushed out an exhibition invitation, financial aid and scholarship information, and a few department articles this past week.

First things first, let’s talk about the BIGGEST Jewelry and Metal Arts exhibition coming up this Thursday! Boasting a large collection of best pieces from current and guest students, alumni, and faculty, the event celebrates not only our own accolades but what the industry achieved as a whole. Mark it on your calendar so you don’t miss the show!

Next on the list, we have important information about financial aid and scholarships. We understand that education can be very expensive, so we provided two easy-to-digest blog posts to help you get started on financing for school.

Last but not least, we have a few exciting announcements and blog posts from the School of Game Development, Illustration, Art Education, and Fashion. Kicking off the list is our academy instructor Jeremy Saliba who was invited to create some official LucasFilm Limited Edition Star Wars lithographs with the new ASUS ProArt series. We then created a few other fun blog posts to help our students in various art and design programs.

Up This Week

That wraps up all we have from last week! Moving on to what we have planned for this week. Hint: It is another action-packed week with event invitations and interesting content from the School of Fashion, Art History, Music Production & Sound Design for Visual Media, and Acting

We are inviting you to another big event of the year: the Fine Art Auction. You’ll find more information about the event this week!

On the departments front, you’ll find out about the top musical scores, famous art historians, popular art directors, and some helpful tips for networking as an actor. Stay tuned!
