Academy Weekly: Hello, Summer!
Last week showcased the culmination of what going to an art school for a college degree is all about: graduation. Graduate and undergraduate students (or shall we now say, alumni) proudly marched up the stage to get their hard-earned diplomas. We, of course, couldn’t be prouder.
On top of all that, however, we made sure to provide you with other informative posts on the blog. Because while their time in the Academy is up, yours isn’t. But hey, hello, summer vacation!
Even though summer break is officially here, you can rest assured that we’ll keep these posts coming, so do keep dropping by.

This is a new segment that we’ve rolled out in recognition of our alumni that have successfully gone on to apply their learnings from the Academy and into the real-world work environment. Talk about putting those degrees to good use.
Up This Week
Fun school stuff doesn’t have to stop just because school’s out. We’re running business as usual throughout the break, just because any time is a good time for learning how else you can make your stay in art school worthwhile.
We’ve got some nifty tips and tricks for outgoing high school seniors, for one. It’s time to start preparing for college, and the Academy’s Summer Hospitality program is just one of the many ways you can get to know us more. Pay attention to those electives you’re choosing too; safe to say they could also very well impact your college course’s trajectory (early credits and units, anyone?).
Meanwhile, we’re also giving you the big push towards joining student contests. Win or lose, you’re sure to learn and earn something from it.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. These are all lined up for the blog; all you have to do is sit back, relax, and read up.
